Thanks so much! For some reason using the diags menu fixed it. It had 80% battery, but I just re-formatted it and now it works. Thanks heaps!!

I will try that. I did get to the maintenance menu though, and I formatted it, but even when it boots up without an os it still does it. Ill have a try later today. Cheers

I suppose you are not able to get into the maintenance menu again to send a fresh OS?
Can you try to follow the section “The TI-Nspire CX falls into a reboot loop and ran out of battery” above, in the case the system error was caused by the battery?

Trying to fix my mates calculator that has this when it boots up (system error) http://www.mediafire.com/view/?jdp769i3rszq34r. I have wiped it using the maintenance menu, but it comes up when I turn in on. Its when it gets to halfway, indicating I think that its not OS but bios related. Is it bricked?

Zac, if you are asking when Ndless will be ported to the latest OS 3.2: upgrading Ndless between each OS version requires a lot of work because of the cat & mouse game TI forces us to play. The update to 3.2 is currently not my priority because of the other ongoing projects in which I prefer to invest.

But if you don’t want to make a choice between OS 3.2 features and Ndless programs, you can have a look at NLaunch which allows to dual-boot between both. Installing it is not straightforward but there is a good tutorial there: https://github.com/bibanon/android-development-codex/wiki/Nspire-Nlaunch

It would be really helpful if there was a way to record keystrokes, special keys, key combinations and store them in a cfg file where we could connect the keystroke code with a key-combination on the nspire.

For example
keyboard -> calculator
==================
CapsLock -> ctrl+shift
ContextMenu -> ctrl+menu
Super -> menu
Ctrl+Super -> doc

In that way, users can program their own schema according to the function keys of their keyboard.
I can’t imagine a way though to implement Greek or any other locale. It seems the only way is from the character selector.

Is it possible to include somehow Greek letters as well? Possibly by pressing alt+shift the driver could swap to Greek layout?

Furthermore, I would like to report that my Logitech M705 mouse is working just fine, but the Rii Mini i6 (RT-MWK06) touchpad doesn’t misinterprets left/right for up/down. so only up and down!

Finally, for those who lost the original mini-A to mini-B connector or can’t find a mini-b usb hub, search in ebay or local search engines/stores for OTG (On-The-Go) mini cables.

I got mine and even can transfer files to other calcs by using my OTG mini adapter, and the regular mini-B cable for the computer.
