This release includes an installer for the latest OS versions for CX (4.5.4.48) and CX II (5.3.0.564) models, which were just released a few days ago. It retains support for the slightly older releases (4.5.3.14, 5.2.0.771) as well, in the same installer files. In total, this means that this installer supports 10 different OSs and with this release, ndless_resources.tns reached support for 42 OS versions, all the way back to 3.1.0.392!
The announcement for CX II support includes some more information about the CX II for users and developers.
Changes since r2016:
- OS 4.5.4.48 (CX, CX CAS) and 5.3.0.564 (CX II, CX II-T, CX II CAS) are now supported
- When using CX II HW rev. AK+, the touchpad works in nespire and minivmac now
- The undocumented “calchook” was dropped (#267), making
ndless_resources.tnssmaller - The 4.5.3/4.5.4/5.2/5.3 installer shows a message when installation fails
- The 4.5.3/4.5.4/5.2/5.3 installer doesn’t crash after the first few installation attempts

how long do they usually take for a new version (4.5.5.79)?. like months? or is it more like years?
Same question as Rodrigo, i’ve bought a nspire cx cas and updated it to 4.5.5.79 without checking. Is there any update on the progress of a new version ? because i’m thinking of selling mine to find an other that is not updated.

It’s been 2 years, 5 months and 22 days. I know it’s probably hard to make a mod for a calculator but it’s been awhile since that update. Please hurry if you can.
Is there anything we can do to help or something with making ndless available the newest version? The calculator I bought is already on 5.4.0.259 without me updating; a lot of people who just got calculators probably have the same problem. Thing is, I don’t know what I can do about it because from what I’ve seen there’s no way to downgrade at least that I know of
When 6.0? Also I can program so maybe I could help dev it. Just saying.

Its been 3 years since an update. I don’t think we are getting one.
